Stingray Properties

Stingray Properties, James Bay Lithium District Quebec

Location

Victory Battery Metals has acquired, staked and filed 280 noncontiguous claims in the highly prospective James Bay Lithium District and adjacent to Patriot Battery Metals (TSXV: PMET) Corvette property. Victory’s presence in this prime location is a priority, allowing the Company to consolidate its Stingray property array, streamline exploration efforts and establish a significant presence for further strategic acquisitions and or partnerships.

Exploration Target

Victory’s holdings represent a large ground position in an underexplored area within an emerging lithium district. The Stingray property array is currently 17,792 hectares to the south of Patriot Battery Metals Corvette Property. The Stingray claim blocks range from adjacent to the Corvette to several kilometers away and span over 65 km of east to west strike length.

As reported by Patriot Battery Metals, the Corvette property has delivered promising results including drill intercepts of 1.65% Li2O and 193 ppm Ta2O5 over 159.7 m (CV22-042), 1.22% Li2O and 138 ppm Ta2O5 over 152.8 m (CV22-030), 2.13% Li2O and 163 ppm Ta2O5 over 86.2 m (CV22-044), and 2.22% Li2O and 147 ppm Ta2O5 over 70.1 m, including 3.01% Li2O and 160 ppm Ta2O5 over 40.7 m (CV22-017). Drilling to date indicates a principal spodumene-bearing pegmatite body of significant size and has been traced by drilling over a distance of at least 2.1 km.1

Properties lying to the east and west of the Stingray claims have been reported to host pegmatite dikes, and Victory's ground is prospective for pegmatites similar to those found on Infinity Stone's Taiga and Camaro Projects, however, these occurrences have yet to report any lithium values.2

Regional Geology & Mineralization

The Stingray Claims are underlain by intermediate intrusive rocks, predominately Granodiorites and Tonolites as well as some granitic rocks. Based on regional geology these intrusive rocks abut the volcanic sequence of the James Bay Greenstone belt.

Overall, the newest claim blocks include: an eastern extension of major regional fault structure which represents the contact between the Archean metavolcanics and Archean granodiorites. This major structure is believed to have controlled the emplacement of lithium bearing pegmatites within the Corvette Lithium Project located towards the west; multiple extensions of prospective metavolcanic unit which is a known host of lithium bearing pegmatites within the James Bay Area. The Lac Block surrounds and covers unexplored extension from Infinity Stone Ventures (CSE: GEMS) Hellcat Project where they have identified 5 pegmatites within the greenstones;3 and, a block adjacent to major east-west trending regional structure and geological contact zone between tonalite/granodiorite and metavolcanic/metasedimentary units.

As Victory’s Exploration team continues to assess additional land claims in the area, it intends to conduct a geologic and surface geochemical survey together with an airborne geophysics survey on the Stingray claims.
